Prof. Dr. dr. Theddeus Octavianus Hari Prasetyono, Sp.BP-RE, Subsp.T.(K)

Prof. Dr. dr. Theddeus Octavianus Hari Prasetyono, widely known as Prof. Teddy, is a distinguished plastic surgeon and educator. A graduate in medicine from Universitas Airlangga (1991), he specialised in plastic surgery at Universitas Indonesia (2000) and earned his doctorate in 2018. He further enhanced his expertise through fellowships in hand and microsurgery at The Buncke Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States.

Prof. Teddy is highly regarded for his contributions to plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, including innovations in hand surgery without tourniquets and minimally invasive techniques. His dedication to education is reflected in nearly 32 medical book chapters and books, over 90 research articles, and numerous presentations at international conferences. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ulsan/Asan Medical Center, South Korea.

Passionate about training and education, writing, public speaking, and surgical innovations, Prof. Teddy has developed tools to simplify surgical training, benefitting students and practitioners globally. Outside his professional life, he enjoys travelling, walking, and listening to music.
