Dr. Wenny Kurniawan, Sp.Ak

Dr. Wenny Kurniawan completed her medical degree at Trisakti University in 2011. She then served in West Papua for a year (2012-2013) and later spent six months in the palm oil forests of Sumatra. It was during this time that she developed a keen interest in medical acupuncture, recognising its potential to manage chronic pain without the need for long-term medication. This led her to further her studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, where she specialised in Medical Acupuncture and earned her specialist degree in 2019.

Dr. Wenny’s expertise lies in medical acupuncture, particularly in pain management and fertility treatments. She has over ten years of experience in acupuncture-assisted fertility for both men and women. Alongside this, she has continued to expand her knowledge in other areas of acupuncture, including sports, geriatric, and aesthetic acupuncture, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Wenny enjoys reading, hiking, and learning new languages. She is currently studying Korean to enhance her ability to communicate with multi-cultural patients and further enrich her understanding of different cultures.
