Dr. Nurwansyah, Sp.OG

Dr. Nurwansyah is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia where he qualified as a general practitioner in 1978 before obtaining his specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology qualification in 1987.

Since becoming a specialist in OB/GYN, dr. Nurwansyah has been active in the field of Feto-Maternal and has attended several fetomaternal training programs in Denmark and Australia.

Dr. Nurwansyah performs several prenatal diagnostic and therapeutic measures, such as amniocentesis, cordocentesis and several intrauterine interventions. He strongly believes in continual improvement and lifelong learning and continues to seek to further master his knowledge and skill. It should be noted that he is the first Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Indonesia to successfully perform an intrauterine transfusion and thoracoamniotic shunting. 

He has published several scientific papers on prenatal diagnostics and therapy. Both at scientific meetings at home and internationally.

Dr. Nurwansyah has an extensive musical talent that he puts to good use in his spare time. He is a drummer, a singer and also a songwriter.
