Dr. Anthony S. Winarno, Frauenarzt (GER), BMedSc (AUS), Sp.OG

Dr. Anthony graduated as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from Justus-Liebig Universitästklinikum Gießen and Ortenau Klinikum Offenburg, Germany. He has been certified as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Germany as “Facharzt für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe“ by Landesärztekammer Hessen, Frankfurt am Main since 2017. He is a member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe e.V (DGGG).

During his residency, he was under supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Hans-Rudolf Tinneberg, Master of Laparoscopic Endometriosis. He is also a student of Prof. Dr.med. Dr. h.c. mult. Kurt Karl Stephan Semm, a globally renowned German pioneer in developing modern gynecological laparoscopy. He participated as an organizer and active mentors at the Giessen School of Endoscopic Surgery (GSES).

After graduating as a specialist, he worked at Hospital Zum Heiligen Geist, Frankfurt am Main, Germany rising to become an Assistant Medical Director. He was responsible for the obstetric and gynaecological operations, both vaginal and laparoscopic surgery with a broad spectrum of cases such as infertility, fibroids, cysts, endometriosis until severe degrees and incontinence. Dr. Anthony regularly participates in consultations and conferences relating to gynaecological malignancies.

Dr. Anthony has further undertaken studies at the University of Indonesia, enabling him to apply his overseas education in accordance with local regulation. 

Dr. Anthony has undertaken research at the University of Melbourne, some of which has subsequently been published in international journals. He has also undertaken the elective posting program at Guy's and St. Thomas‘ London, UK, focusing on infertility and gynaecological oncology surgery.

Dr. Anthony is proficient in performing laparoscopy (minimal invasive surgery), pregnancy consultation, ultrasound examination, childbirth, and family planning.

He loves both field and water sports and has participated in the University of Indonesia dean’s cup tennis doubles championship as well as football, basketball and futsal. He currently plays tennis actively.
 
He is proficient in English and German (Deutsch) languages.
